Hampton Roads Area Command
Feeding and Shelter Program
The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command’s Feeding and Shelter Program provides critical, life-sustaining support to individuals and families facing hunger and homelessness. Through food pantries, community meals, and mobile feeding, we deliver nutritious food to those struggling to meet basic needs. Our shelter program provides emergency shelter, day services, meal programs, and transitional housing for veterans, women, and women with children.
Serving as a point of entry for assistance, the program not only meets immediate needs but also connects clients to resources that promote long-term stability—ensuring that neighbors in crisis have access to food, shelter, and a pathway forward.
When you let compassion be more than words — you change a life.
Please join us in helping more families find safety, stability, and HOPE.
